Domestic EPCs
EPCs are part of a European initiative to get more information on how efficient our homes are and what can be done to improve their efficiency. They are required on the construction, sale or rent of most domestic and commercial properties.
The Energy Performance Certificate was formally part of the Home Information Pack for domestic property sales. However since Home Information Packs were suspended on 21 May 2010 they have become a standalone requirement for sales as well.
